faith

So this past week has been really awesome.

I had the opportunity to go on a lot of divisions and work with a lot of very different missionaries. A lot of stressful moments running around trying to get everything done in such a small time frame.

One thing that I studied this week was about faith. When I think about faith, it seems like such an easy concept, but there are so many that don’t seem to understand or don’t want to show their faith. I read something that says that faith is like your arm. If you are working about and using your arm, it will become stronger. But, if you put it into a sling it will slowly become weaker. If we do the small, little things like pray, read the scriptures and go to church, we will become stronger. But, it’s when we stop doing these things when Satan tries to tempt and draw you away. It is through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, that we can overcome and become better and stronger. He paid the ultimate price so that we can become our true potential.

Every day we have the opportunity to become better and put our faith in Jesus Christ.

I love you all and hope that you all can look for opportunities to put your faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ.

  • What kinds of experiences did you have this week? What made this week a challenge. How did it build your faith? I worked with different elders two different days this week. We went around trying to help a lot of missionaries resolve their [investigator’s] doubts and problems that are trying to get baptized. It was an awesome learning experience.
