happy new year

Monday, January 5, 2015

So not a lot has happened this week, but I had a great New Year’s day.
New Year’s here is super loco. Everyone here buys a ton of fireworks and it sounds like a war outside.
This week I have been thinking a lot about how much my priorities have changed here in the mission. As I was thinking about what kind of New Year’s goals I wanted to make, I was thinking about my last year’s goals. Instead of making goals about how many days of snowboarding I was going to get in, or new tricks I was going to land on a wakeboard or snowboard, or about grades in school or whatever, I was thinking more about how I can find more investigators or how I can teach lessons better. It’s a different thought process here in the mission, but it’s great.
I love you all so much and hope that you all had a great New Year’s.
This time is a time that you can make new goals. Think about what you didn’t like about last year and change for the better. Remember that you can always strengthen your relationship with your Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
